History
La Ca’ dei Comari owes its name to the nickname of the family that used to live in it and still owns it today, “Lino and Rita dei comari”, (a nickname given to Lino’s mother as the only midwife in the village at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century). It is located in the historical village of Vico di Capovalle, and has been recently renovated, preserving its rustic and ancient style; on the ground floor you will even find a room dedicated to the tools used over time by the family itself and by the local community, which bear witness to a humble and hard farming life in the mountains, but at the same time rich in ancient traditions.
